About the Artist

Eugenio Intini is an Italian photographer based in Milan whose work blends painterly intuition with a deep sensitivity to light and atmosphere. Born in Modena and raised across various regions of Italy—from Potenza to Tuscany—Intini’s nomadic upbringing shapes his restless visual curiosity. He began photographing while studying at the Fine Arts Academy in Florence, drawn to the camera as a freer alternative to drawing.

Deeply influenced by Flemish painting, particularly the works of Van Eyck and Rembrandt, Intini’s images often carry a quiet mystery, embedding hidden details and emotional layers that reward repeated viewing. His travel photography—shot on instinct and free from commercial constraints—serves as a visual diary and an essential counterbalance to his fashion work.

Committed to analog processes, he prints all his work himself, considering the darkroom an extension of his creative practice. Whether exploring familiar landscapes or chasing unfamiliar light across continents, Intini sees photography as both a discipline and a search—for stillness, for complexity, for something just out of frame.
